In a handstand, two key movements are essential: • Shoulder flexion (bringing the arms overhead, involving the deltoids and lat lengthening) • Thoracic flexion (flattening the mid-spine, activating the core to keep the ribs down) These must happen at the same time if you want to get into the straightest handstand line possible.
