Facebook app doesn’t work on new ipad - Apple Community
Nov 8, 2024 · I just got a new iPad Pro with OS 18.1 and the Facebook app doesn't allow me to login. I can do it via Safari, so it is an app problem, not a problem with connectivity or the new iPad. When I saw so many others having similar issues, I deleted the Facebook app and saved the Facebook bookmark to the home screen on my iPad.

Jul 12, 2023 · Is it possible to install apps/programs for Mac M1 chips on the iPad Pro in MacOS mode? I don't believe that the iPad Pro runs macOS, or has a macOS mode. As for running apps built for one platform on another, you can't run Mac apps on the iPhone and iPad. You can run some iPhone and iPad on Apple Silicon Macs, IF the app developer permits it.

Jun 10, 2021 · While closing apps is not really necessary and can be left in the background without any ill effects you can close them if required by swiping up from the bottom of the screen to the middle of the screen (on iPad's without a home button) or double clicking the home button to bring up the App switcher.

Feb 27, 2011 · Thanks, that helped. While iBooks is listed in the Apps Library in iTunes, the others weren't. I checked the iPhone iOS 4 User Guide to get the same data for the iPhone. I can see why the Camera, Phone, and their related apps aren't on the iPad, but it doesn't make sense that the Clock and Calculator Apps aren't there.
