The returns all went smoothly. There was only 1 month between my shower and wedding so I wasn't expecting anyone else to buy from the Target registry since it was so picked over. I was wrong. A guest that flew in for the wedding shipped us $200 in wedding gifts from the Target registry (that she searched out on her own).

Remember that every store is a litte bit different. With just a gift receipt or no receipt at all you will get a walmart gift card.

I used a $17 voucher from groupon to purchase up to $70 worth of VP materials. So I got 50 flat personalized Christmas cards, 5x7, with double sided color printing, upgraded paper and finish. I also upgraded the envelopes. My final total was just under the $70, so all I paid was $17 for the voucher and $8 for shipping.

LittleSweetie member. February 2010 edited December 2011. Target's return policy has changed a LOT in the past year to make things a whole lot easier. Registry or not, you can return a "limited amount" of merchandise without a receipt, something like $40-75/year per driver's license I think.
