Jul 19, 2023 · I don’t recommend getting a scuf at all. I’ve just brought the ps5 edge controller to replace it and honestly it’s better than the scuff in every way. They replace the buttons with there own to get them color matched and they just don’t feel as good as the stock ps5 buttons they kinda stick in the housing when you click them.

Dec 21, 2020 · Here are the steps to using your PS4 Scuf controller on any PS5 game. Download PS Remote app for Windows. Connect PS4 controller to PC (USB) Connect Remote app to PS5. Press PS button, change audio to Headset. Job done, you now have a PS5 Scuf. Use your TV / Monitor for gameplay, the one connected directly to your PS5. NOT the remote app on PC!

Sep 27, 2023 · Unless your some pro making money where you can buy a new scuf every 6 months, avoid scuf like the plague. The placement of the scuf PS5 paddles feel very unnatural to me My $250 reflex fps only lasted 6 months, left stick drift was the issue and I take care of my controllers. My wife thinks I am too anal with my care for them.

Scuf Reflex FPS trigger no longer clicks (DIY solution)
Oct 23, 2022 · After about 6 months of using the Reflex FPS for PS5, the R2 button stopped clicking. I googled to see if others had experienced and resolved the same issue. Plenty seem to have had the problem, but I didn’t find any solutions other than suggestions to send it back to scuf and hope they fulfill a warranty claim.

More researched indicated that SCUF controller’s instant button and trigger were bar none. That was it! The triggered of the PS5 Edge required further travel to activate, depression of buttons were still annoyingly slow in those crunch situations and the buffers (and a little lacking skills) sometimes caused me to miss some crucial knives.

Mar 18, 2022 · The first 2 PS5 controllers I own, haven’t even lasted 6 months without some kind of issue (usually stick drift). I know these aren’t made to last, I don’t think I could spend over $200 on any controller 😅 although I’d love to have paddles.
