Sep 28, 2022 · I like Mustafa Ali but he’s nowhere near as good as Kofi. Kofi has had a connection with the WWE audience since he debuted (and as a result one of the best title records when not including world titles), which is why the people willed Kofimania into existence.

Mustafa Ali would KILL it in AEW. His creativity, in-ring prowess and authenticity as a good human being would fit the AEW culture so perfectly. His fellow 205 Live alum Cedric Alexander has had an OK run over the past year thanks to the Hurt Business. But he's another one who I think could do well in a post-WWE life in AEW or NJPW.
