I have a Summary Wire Report from Google showing the payment was sent via Wells Fargo. When I trace the UETR code through Wells Fargo's Payment Tracker, it shows the transfer is still "In Progress." Wells Fargo customer service couldn't help since I'm not their customer. Google (the sender) is only responding with automated messages.

Wells Fargo got messed up a few years back because of a bad employee incentive program. Too many remember that and are determined to keep that as the Wells Fargo reputation. I have been banking at Wells Fargo for about 20 years. I recently got a new trust and opened a separate trust account at Wells Fargo.

May 28, 2022 · Wells Fargo’s SD platform just has a lot of limitations because their focus is more on the high dollar full service relationships (with an advisor) than the self directed platform, because SD doesn’t generate the same income.

Wells Fargo does have a great reputation for this nonsense, with class actions galore. Does this issue qualify as another? I was told by the complaint department that they would not be taking my complaint, as I opted in to whatever BS policy change and whim they decide to implement because I signed the papers to open an account over ten years ago.

Jun 19, 2020 · Unfortunately Wells Fargo is a binding arbitration bank so you will be shit out of luck if they fuck you over. Editorializing: I think there are a lot of advantages to Wells Fargo, depending upon what you need (it's an international bank, it's "big," and convenient, etc.).

Dec 26, 2023 · What you describe sounds like a Quicken file corruption problem not a Wells Fargo one step update problem. Click on File, then hold the Ctrl and Shift keys down and click on 'Validate and Repair File' with the mouse. This will "super validate" your file - meaning check for file irregularities.

Stop banking with big named banks (Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Chase, PNC, Etc.) and go with a local Credit Union next time. You get better customer service and they seem to actually like customers. You have no rights here unfortunately and no, they do not ever have to tell you why they closed your account.
