Former Jacksonville State defensive back Zechariah Poyser has committed to Miami, he announced on social media Tuesday. Posyer, a native of Wildwood, Florida, announced his intentions to enter the NCAA transfer portal on Dec. 8. He also lined up visits to LSU, Auburn and Florida.

They have hosted two cornerbacks on visits: Washington State’s Ethan O’Connor (Georgia is reportedly the favorite and he’s expected to visit Colorado) and Arizona’s Emmanuel Karnley, who has been considering UM, Mississippi and Michigan.

Daniels transferred to LSU for the 2024 season, and he notched 42 catches for 480 yards. Pro Football Focus gave Daniels a 65.1 offensive grade with a 65.6 receiving grade last year. He was sure-handed, going the whole season without a drop. He also caught six of seven contested throws last season.
