Apple has unsigned and removed watchOS 11.4 beta 1 for the Apple Watch Series 6, and has pulled iOS 18.4 beta 1 from the iPhone 12 and some select iPad models.

Additionally, Apple has unsigned iOS 18.4 beta 1 for a number of iOS devices, including most of the iPhone 12 lineup, a few iPad models released in 2020, and cellular versions of the most recent iPad Air model. It’s unclear what exactly the issue is here, but a number of users reported boot looping. Here’s a full list of pulled models:

Two Apple Watch users reported on Reddit that installing watchOS 11.4 beta 1 on their timepieces bricked them. One of the the units was a Series 6 while the other model bricked was not specified. Apple decided to also pull watchOS 11.

Apple today seeded the first betas of watchOS 11.4 and tvOS 18.4 to developers for testing. The betas are currently only available to registered developers at this time, and can be downloaded from the Settings app on each device.
