Russia has alleged its new Oreshnik missiles could reach targets across Europe - and Vladimir Putin has claimed Western defences systems will not be able to stop them.

Russia will continue testing and start mass producing the new "Oreshnik" missile that was used to target Dnipro, Ukraine, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.

Vladimir Putin's latest 'combat tested weapon' may not be as new as he says. It is more of a hybrid, based on another missile system, say analysts.
