Israel voices, the Biden administration vetoed a draft resolution against the Jewish state at the United Nations Security Council on Wednesday.The U.N. Security Council voted 14-1 in favor of the resolution sponsored by the 10 non-permanent members on the 15-member council,

The United States, which has blocked four other resolutions, said it vetoed the most recent version because it did not make the release of hostages a precondition for a truce.

Fourteen of the 15 members voted in favour, but Washington said the text would send "dangerous message" to Hamas.
