ROCKY HILL, Conn. (WTNH) — A crash in Rocky Hill closed Main Street between Grimes Street and West Street Monday morning. The crash happened at the intersection of Hillside Avenue in Main Street. Hillside Avenue will also be closed east leading to Main Street. This comes after police said a car struck a utility police overnight.

ROCKY HILL, Conn. (WFSB) - A motor vehicle crash has closed Route 99 in Rocky Hill between Grimes Road and West Street. According to Rocky Hill police, a vehicle collided with a utility pole, and the road was closed. The occupant of the vehicle sustained minor injuries.

Rocky Hill Police said that Main Street in the area of Hillside Avenue is closed to both northbound and southbound traffic between Grimes Road and West Street through the morning commute after a car hit a utility pole overnight. Hillside Avenue will also be closed eastbound leading to main street.

Main Street in Rocky Hill is expected to be closed for several hours on Monday morning and may impact the morning commute. Fire officials said Main Street is closed to both northbound and southbound traffic near Hillside Avenue as crews work to replace a utility pole that was hit overnight.
