Raspberry Pi has announced an updated version of the Pico 2 microcontroller board with an onboard Wi-Fi chip. Called the Pico 2 W, it’s powered by RP2350 microcontroller, which you can find in all manner of nerdy DIY gadgets and fun devices like the minuscule Thumby Color GBA clone. Apart from the added wireless connectivity, all other features and specifications of the Raspberry Pico 2W remain the same as the none wireless Pico 2 variants. With the same footprint, size, RP2350 dual-core Arm Cortex-M33 and RISC-V Hazard processors at a stock 150MHz,

The new Pico 2 W is fully backward compatible with existing Pico hardware and software. You can purchase your Pico 2, with the Wi-Fi version priced at $7 and the non-Wi-Fi version priced at $5, from one of Raspberry Pis preferred retailers listed on the official website.
