Minnesota First Lady Gwen Walz, the wife of Democratic Vice Presidential Nominee Tim Walz, will make her way to the U.P. for a campaign event Friday.The visit is another in a list of prominent Democratic names who have made the trip to region in the past several weeks.

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - First Lady Dr. Jill Biden and Minnesota First Lady Gwen Walz will campaign together Monday in La Crosse. After stopping in Michigan, the two longtime educators will finish the day at an Educators for Harris-Walz event. The Harris-Walz campaign said both women will also encourage early voting.

Biden, the wife of President Joe Biden, and Walz, the wife of vice presidential nominee Tim Walz, will be in Traverse City and Bay City on Monday. They also will be stopping in Wisconsin after visiting Traverse City. According to the Harris campaign, Biden and Walz are holding Women for Harris-Walz events.
