UPDATED: January 21, 2025 at 4:28 PM EST Rock icons Billy Idol and Joan Jett and the Blackhearts will stop in Maryland this summer as they journey around North America on a tour announced Tuesday.

His upcoming documentary, “Billy Idol Should Be Dead,” premieres at the Tribeca Film Festival June 10, and its bracing title is hardly hyperbole. “I’m lucky to be here,” he tells USA TODAY.

Jan. 21 (UPI) -- Billy Idol announced a new tour with Joan Jett and the Blackhearts on Tuesday. The duo will visit 30 cities in the U.S. and Canada from April 30 - Sept. 25.
