Saira Banu's lawyer, Vandana Shah revealed if her client will legally get 50 percent of AR Rahman's massive wealth after the duo's split as per Indian law.

Lawyer Vandana Shah has spoken about music composer AR Rahman using a hashtag in his tweet while announcing his separation from his wife, Saira Banu. Speaking with Bollywood Bubble, Vandana said that a hashtag "should be treated with the same kind of disregard" such as a semicolon.

Vandana Shah, a well-known divorce lawyer handling AR Rahman and Saira Banu's case, noted that decisions like this are never easy, especially after being married for 29 years, though she didn’t go into specific details.

Reacting to her former husband AR Rahman's name being linked to his bassist Mohini Dey, Saira Banu said, "I kindly request you to stop all the false allegations against him."
