Star Wars is forever bringing back elements of the prior Extended Universe and Andor Season 2 is doing its bit by featuring a ship from a 1994 video game. Total Film spotted protagonist Cassian Andor stealing a TIE Avenger ship in the brief snippet of footage released in the Disney+ Coming in 2025 trailer.

And at this past weekend during the inaugural D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event in Brazil, the show's amusing droid B2MO appeared onstage chattering in Portuguese to announce that "Andor: A Star Wars Story" Season 2 will premiere April 22, 2025.

Following its announcement that the second season of Andor (now subtitled A Star Wars Story) is set to premiere next April, Disney Plus has dropped a new sizzle reel giving us a proper look at the show and a whole bunch of other things coming to the streamer.
