Alcon Entertainment said it refused all permissions but Tesla apparently used artificial intelligence to “do it all anyway.”

In a lawsuit filed Tuesday, lawyers for Alcon Entertainment—exclusive rightsholder of the 2017 Blade Runner 2049 movie—accused Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) of conspiring with Musk and Tesla to steal the image and infringe Alcon's copyright to benefit financially off the brand association.

A big Hollywood outfit with a futuristic blockbuster on its ledger is going to war with tech mogul Elon Musk. Alcon Entertainment, perhaps best known for futuristic thriller "Blade Runner 2049," is suing Musk over what it perceives to be various forms of infringement stemming from the latter's recent Tesla event.
