The Dallas YMCA Turkey Trot marked its 57th year, drawing crowds who ran, jogged, or simply strolled along the downtown streets.

A tradition unlike any other – more than 50 years of the Dallas YMCA Turkey Trot continued Thursday morning as runners lined up to work off some calories before their big Thanksgiving meal.

The former Miss Kansas 2021, who took us on a stroll down memory lane with her stunning pageant looks she rocked, participated in the annual Dallas YMCA Turkey Trot for an 8-mile run.

The first-ever Turkey Trot, which took place in 1981, had just 200 runners. Now, it has grown to more than 10,000 participants. For some, like Autumn Rompf of Arlington, it's bittersweet.
