Tamil actor Suriya, last seen in Kanguva, visited the Sri Masaniamman Temple in Pollachi, Tamil Nadu, for the puja ceremony of his upcoming film with RJ Balaji, tentatively titled Suriya 45.

Suriya was recently seen on the big screens with his latest fantasy action movie Kanguva, directed by Siva. With the movie receiving mixed responses, the Jai Bhim actor has moved past it and kickstarted his 45th movie with director RJ Balaji.

Following the formal pooja, RJ Balaji will kick off the first schedule in Coimbatore, filming key scenes with Suriya and the other lead actors.

The puja of Suriya 45 took place on November 27 in Pollachi. Suriya, the film's director RJ Balaji attended the auspicious event. This is Suriya's first collaboration with RJ Balaji. AR Rahman has been roped in as the music composer for this film which is produced by Dream Warrior Pictures production.
