A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launch created a light display in the skies above St. George and other parts of southern Utah Monday night.

SpaceX plans to launch a Falcon 9 rocket from Vandenberg Space Force Base on Monday evening. The launch is currently scheduled for 8:36 p.m. on June 16. A livestream of the launch is scheduled to start about five minutes before liftoff.

The Starlink hardware kit, which includes the satellite dish and router, might cost around Rs 33,000 -- similar to prices in neighbouring countries like Bangladesh and Bhutan.

The SpaceX rocket lifted off at 8:36 p.m. from its launchpad at the California base and reached low Earth orbit about 8½ minutes later.

Amazon is keen to get its second batch of internet satellites into orbit, but it won’t be happening just yet.
