Samsung is reportedly working on a new Galaxy Z foldable form factor for 2025, a tri-fold device that folds twice.

Last month, reports surfaced that Samsung plans to launch its first tri-fold smartphone as early as next year. Now, a new report from Korea’s ET News suggests that Samsung has initiated development on the device,

With the Galaxy Z Flip 6, Samsung has developed its most compact smartphone to date, and this certainly stands out when unboxing the device. When closed, the phone is incredibly compact – roughly the size of a small wallet – making it easy to transport in a bag or even a pocket, without compromising on a quality feel and finish.

The phone will feature a new 'infolding' design, keeping the external display protected from damage. The tri-fold smartphone will have a 9-10 inch screen, making it similar in size to mid-sized tablets like the Galaxy Tab S9.
