Back-to-back earthquakes jolt Los Angeles area within hours
An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 3.5 rattled the L.A. metropolitan area early Saturday just hours after a 3.8-magnitude quake shook the Malibu area shortly before midnight Friday.
