Olympic gold medalist April Ross announced her retirement from beach volleyball in an emotional Instagram post on Monday, Oct. 14.

April Ross’ only goal when she graduated from USC in 2005 was to travel the world. She accomplished that and much more in a nearly two-decade beach volleyball playing career that will end next month.
