The change is due to the damage Tropicana Field sustained during Hurricane Milton, as the Rays will transition to the New York Yankees ' George M. Steinbrenner Field in Tampa Bay for their home games. Minnesota will now host Tampa Bay at Target Field from July 4-6 and will play in Tampa Bay from May 26-28, according to the league.

The locations for the series that the Twins and Tampa Bay Rays will play against each other have been flipped with the Twins now hosting the Rays from July 4-6.
