Major League Baseball announced tweaks to the schedule for the upcoming season on Monday, one of which involves the Twins and now leaves them hosting home games over the Fourth of July weekend.

The change is due to the damage Tropicana Field sustained during Hurricane Milton, as the Rays will transition to the New York Yankees ' George M. Steinbrenner Field in Tampa Bay for their home games. Minnesota will now host Tampa Bay at Target Field from July 4-6 and will play in Tampa Bay from May 26-28, according to the league.
