A New Hampshire man has died after falling during a hike in icy conditions on the White Mountains. Ryan Kobayashi, who flew to Los Angeles looking for his daughter, Hannah, after she was reported missing, 'tragically took his own life,' according to his family.

A New Hampshire man has died while hiking in the White Mountains.According to the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department, 44-year-old Christopher Huyler of Littleton died on Friday.Search and rescue were told Huyler hadn’t returned from hiking on the Coppermine trail in Franconia.

Christopher Huyler’s body was found around 1 a.m. at approximately 2,800 feet in elevation, near a steep, icy slide in the Coppermine Brook valley, officials said.
