BOSTON (Reuters) -A federal judge is standing by her decision to block the implementation of a provision in U.S. President Donald Trump's recently passed tax and spending bill that would prevent Planned Parenthood health centers from receiving Medicaid funding.

A judge partially froze a provision of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act just days after President Trump signed it into law.

H.R. 1 prohibits Medicaid payments for one year to nonprofit organizations that provide abortions and also received at least $800,000 in federal funding in 2023.
