Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford returned to the field for practice Monday morning and look as good as ever.

Stafford has reportedly been dealing with an aggravated disc in his back, and while he previously completed some private individual work where he threw behind the scenes, he had been sitting out of team drills. This is a step in the right direction with the Rams' season opener vs. the Houston Texans now less than three weeks away.

Rams head coach Sean McVay has also been offering cryptic updates about Stafford's health, while other reports indicate the team is not that worried about the veteran's availability for Week 1 of the regular season. Stafford finally returned to practice on Monday, but McVay once again offered a concerning and cryptic update.
