NINE individuals and groups are to be honoured at the Mayo Irish Diaspora Society 2025 Awards ceremony next month.

MAYO Books Press has published The Curraghs and Naomhóga of Ireland, by Dr. Breandán Mac Conamhna, which was launched in the Erris Coast Hotel, Geesala, on Friday night.

A big weekend is coming up in the Mayo Women's League with the McHale Agri, Forest & Garden Mayo Women's Cup and Shield finals taking place on Saturday, August 23.
