Authorities were led to the cartel home after a Katy police officer tracked down four men who got away from the Katy Mills Mall with suitcases full of about $5,000 worth of merchandise.

After a fire sent five correctional officers to the hospital, ABC13 dug into the jail's past and found safety concerns inside the facility.
