Folk music legend Sharda Sinha is critically ill and on ventilator support at AIIMS, with fans and well-wishers praying for her recovery.

Renowned folk singer Sharda Sinha died on Tuesday evening after a prolonged battle with cancer. She was 72. The Padma Bhushan awardee was admitted to AIIMS Hospital in Delhi for treatment at the oncology department on October 25.

Sharda Sinha's son gives update on her health and said that his mother's condition has been deteriorating and she is on ventilator. He urged fans to pray for her and not spread fake news regarding her health.
