Former Barcelona and PSG star Neymar could be available on a free transfer this coming January as Al Hilal is looking at terminating the Brazilian's contract, per a report from UOL. The Saudi Pro League side has grown frustrated with the lack of availability from the 32-year-old who recently made his return from an ACL injury before suffering another setback with a long-term hamstring injury.

Neymar left PSG for Al-Hilal in a €90 million move to Saudi Arabia, but his time at the club hasn’t gone as planned. After suffering a cruciate ligament tear that sidelined him for an entire year, the Brazilian has now picked up another injury.

Neymar’s future at Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal is reportedly in doubt as the club considers terminating his £130 million-a-year contract in January, following persistent injury setbacks.

Currently sidelined with a muscle injury, Neymar is expected to be out for six to eight weeks. Once recovered, he plans to return to full fitness and push himself further, with his primary goal being to represent Brazil in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
