Notre Dame does play mostly man coverage when it comes to the passing game. That could play right into OSU’s hands. Texas played mostly zone coverage and would drop linebackers into coverage to bracket Jeremiah Smith and confuse Howard. If the Fighting Irish leave their corners on an island, there are just too many weapons and someone will be open.
