Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah was named the Professional Footballers' Association (PFA) Player of the Year on Tuesday, becoming the first player in history to win the award three times. Aston Villa and England midfielder Morgan Rogers was also recognised,

Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers scooped the PFA Young Player of the Year, while Mariona Caldentey, the Arsenal forward, won the women’s Player of the Year award. Salah has now won the top individual prize in English football three times thanks to his starring role in Liverpool ’s title win last term.

Salah becomes the first player to win three PFA Player of the Year awards, having also secured the crown for the 2017-18 and 2021-22.
