A 22-year-old Tennessee man charged in the brutal slaying of an Arizona woman was extradited to the desert and booked into jail, officials said.

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A man who was taken into custody in Tennessee has been extradited to Arizona to face a murder charge in the killing of Mercedes Vega, a young woman from Tempe who was found burned alive in the desert west of the Valley in 2023.
