I n the wake of the massive popularity of Dahmer, Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan are back with a new season of their Monster anthology series that explores the lives and crimes of the infamous Menendez brothers.

Ryan Murphy has found his next Monster in Ed Gein… and Charlie Hunnam. The Sons of Anarchy star is set to play the serial murderer and body snatcher, often referred to as “the Butcher of Plainfield,” in a third cycle of the Netflix anthology series Monster.

On Aug. 20, 1989, Lyle and Erik Menendez brutally murdered their parents, firing so many shots into them—to the point that Lyle returned to his car to reload his weapon—that their bodies were more or less mutilated.
