Ann Selzer, the pollster behind the Iowa poll that unexpectedly predicted a November 5 victory for Kamala Harris in the state, has responded to criticism from Donald Trump. The former president took to his social media platform Truth Social on Sunday,

The Iowa pollster who surprised pundits and politicians alike over the weekend with a poll showing Kamala Harris leading Donald Trump in the state said the poll was indicative of a modern reality: abortion has rallied Democrats.

"Tonight, I’m of course thinking about how we got where we are," Selzer, president of Selzer & Co., said in a statement.

The Iowa polls revealed Kamala Harris in the lead on Saturday predicting her victory for November 5 in the state. This was followed by Donald Trump’s criticism of the survey. The former president took to his Truth Social platform to denounce the survey and its new finding which he had won twice previously.

Election Day is here, and everyone is ready for a conclusion one way or the other. The stakes are high for everyone on both sides, and this has been referred to by many as one of the most consequential elections of our time.
