Could Pittsburgh Steelers offensive coordinator Arthur Smith be on the move after just one season? On Tuesday, On3Sports reported that the Steelers’ offensive coordinator is a leading hot-name candidate for the University of North Carolina heading coaching job.

And while many believe Arthur Smith could be doing more (which may be a fair point), he has done largely well with the pieces he’s been given. Smith has done such a good job that he has been named as a candidate to replace Mack Brown as the head coach at North Carolina.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have seen the success that Arthur Smith can bring to the offense. Smith's offensive scheme has the unit averaging 22.9 points per game so far this season, the best the offense has put up since the 2020 season (26 points per game).
