Google's parent company, Alphabet, has struck a deal to buy cybersecurity firm Wiz for $32 billion US in what would be the tech giant's biggest-ever acquisition, a move which comes at the same time it's facing a potential breakup of its internet empire.

The all-cash deal is set to boost Alphabet’s profile in the cloud computing market, a space currently led by Amazon and Microsoft.

Spanish startup Playtomic, which rents racket sports courts through a mobile phone app, achieved a valuation of 250 million euros ($273 million) in a new funding round, its chief executive Felix Ruiz said on Wednesday.
