Late Wednesday, Google filed its appeal of the Epic v. Google antitrust, asking a federal appeals court to throw out the ruling.

Google (NASDAQ:GOOG) (NASDAQ:GOOGL) is appealing its loss in the Epic Games antitrust trial, asking a U.S. appeals court to throw out a jury verdict that ended up directing heavy changes to Google's Play Store app market.

The judge ruled last year the Google Play app store was required to make changes to its payment system after forcing app developers to explicitly use its proprietary system.

Google, in its detailed argument to the San Francisco-based 9th US Circuit Court of Appeals, said the trial judge made legal errors that unfairly benefited Epic Games.
