The Australian found himself in the lead at a wet Silverstone when a safety car was called. Upon the race restart, he slowed down, which saw Max Verstappen, who was sitting behind, take evasive action.

Lando Norris survived an incident-packed race in the rain to win Formula 1’s British Grand Prix on Sunday and cut the gap to his teammate and title rival Oscar Piastri.

Verstappen takes pole position at Silverstone but trails Piastri and Norris in the overall standings as F1 action begins at 9:55 a.m. ET on ESPN2.
