(KKTV) - Thursday night, law enforcement recommended charges including first-degree murder, kidnapping and burglary for a woman accused of shooting a 7-year-old’s father and taking off with the child. On Monday at 3:51 p.m., the CBI said a 7-year-old boy was found safe after an Amber Alert was issued Monday afternoon in Colorado.

Police have deactivated an Amber Alert for a missing boy. The suspect, a 26-year-old woman, is believed to have shot a man in Lakewood before allegedly kidnapping the child.

CHERAW, Colo. ( KKTV /Gray News) - An Amber Alert was issued Monday afternoon in Colorado for a 7-year-old boy. The Colorado Bureau of Investigation issued the alert at about 1:40 p.m. for 7-year-old Uriah Saye Jr. Authorities believe Uriah may be with the suspect, 26-year-old Crystal Denmon.
