Irish eyes are smiling on Sunday morning as Notre Dame obliterated previously unbeaten Army 49-14 at Yankee Stadium on Saturday night, and moving to 10-1 in the process. Notre Dame is now a win at 6-5 USC away from heading to the College Football Playoff and almost certainly playing in the First Round game on its home field.

No. 6 Notre Dame and No. 19 Army are set to revive their rivalry Saturday evening as they clash inside New York's Yankee Stadium. This will be the first meeting between the two programs since 2016, and just the fourth since the turn of the century.

The No. 6 Fighting Irish blew out No. 19 Army, 49-14, to end the Black Knights’ bid for an undefeated season. With Army’s loss coming hours after No. 5 Indiana lost to No. 2 Ohio State, No. 1 Oregon is the only undefeated team in the country ahead of the final week of the regular season.
