Chris Stapleton forgot to thank his wife and collaborator Morgane for the first award he won at the 2024 CMA Awards but quickly made up for it while accepting his second win of the night.

Chris Stapleton took home four Country Music Association Awards and hardly left the stage on Wednesday night, while an absent Morgan Wallen won the night's biggest prize, entertainer of the year.

Chris Stapleton swept the Song of the Year trophy at the 2024 CMA Awards. However, during the winning speech, he also apologized to his wife, Morgane Stapleton. The 58th annual award show took place on Wednesday at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena.
