Treyarch addresses the initial plan to tackle the cheating problem currently plaguing Call of Duty: Black Ops 6's Ranked Play game mode.

Black Ops 6” had a new update on Nov. 21, and officially launched Ranked Play, with similarities and differences to the Ranked Play from “Modern Warfare 3”. The core tenets of Ranked Play are the same;

Call of Duty's Ricochet anti-cheat is active in Black Ops 6 and Warzone, but unsavory players were still managing to flood into Ranked Play mode. Activision says this is partially due to an outage that was identified as lowering Ricochet's efficiency of the AI systems used for cheat detection.
