BrightRidge reported that, as of Thursday morning, all outages north of the Nolichucky River had been restored. The company said that all remaining outages were south of the Nolichucky River and are expected to be restored on Saturday.

BrightRidge restored all remaining outages north of the Nolichucky by Thursday morning, down from 33,458 outages at the height of storm Helene.

BrightRidge gave an update on its efforts to restore power to customers surrounding the flood-torn Nolichucky River on Tuesday. A release from the electric company said crews were working to finish a river crossing at the Bailey Bridge in the South Central area.

A BrightRidge spokesman said the electric company is conducting disaster assessment and recovery efforts from a “historic and extensive” weather event.
