Despite the high confidence heading into the Iron Bowl, the Auburn Tigers let their guard down against Alabama

The Alabama Crimson Tide prepares for its annual Iron Bowl matchup against the Auburn Tigers inside Bryant-Denny Stadium this Saturday, and if you want to catch the Southeastern Conference rivalry game in person,

Auburn football got the big win it had long been searching for Saturday night, beating Texas A&M 43-41 in four overtimes. It was Auburn’s first home Southeastern Conference win of the season and put the Tigers just one win away from bowl eligibility. It also put a large damper on Texas A&M’s College Football Playoff hopes.

The Aggies fought valiantly, overcoming a 21-0 deficit and pushing the Tigers to four overtimes. Texas A&M quarterback Marcel Reed finished the game with 297 yards, three touchdowns and an interception on 22 of 35 passing. Daniels had the critical drop but also rushed for 90 yards and a touchdown on 27 attempts.

Texas and Texas A&M will meet at Kyle Field with College Football Playoff implications and a trip to the SEC championship game on the line.
