Welcome to the 2024 Continental Classic tournament in AEW. This week's episode of AEW Dynamite was the launch of the company's signature round robin event. With it came strong matches and intriguing matchups.

AEW makes a change. During the November 27 episode of AEW Dynamite, the broadcast team announced a change to how the winner of the AEW Continental Classic would be crowned. The winner will still be determined at AEW Worlds End on December 28, as the finals will take place at the show. However, the semi-finals will also be held at the show.
