The Rays acquired veteran pitcher Adrian Houser from the White Sox in an effort bolster their starting rotation.
Houser has a 6-2 record and a 2.10 ERA in 11 starts with the White Sox this season. He has 47 strikeouts in 68.2 innings, but also has a 1.22 WHIP and a Wins Above Replacement of 3.0 on the season.
