President Donald Trump took a break from his bitter public feud with Elon Musk by offering support to Tesla in an early morning post on Truth Social.

President Trump on Thursday denied wanting to harm tech billionaire Elon Musk’s businesses, amid questions over whether he supports federal agencies working with the Tesla CEO’s companies.

The US president says he wants the billionaire to ‘THRIVE’, in a startling development after their recent bitter public feud.

Elon Musk once again emphasized the importance of solar energy on the social media platform X on Thursday, following the launch of a home energy plan in Texas by his firm Tesla, in partnership with residential solar firm Sunrun.

In a surprising turn, President Trump voiced support for Elon Musk's Tesla despite past disagreements. This comes amid Tesla's financial struggles and declining stock value. Musk's ventures into politics and looming loss of U.

Elon Musk was referring to an earlier post by Donald Trump on Truth Social, which claimed that he wanted the Tesla CEO to “THRIVE”.

"Tesla is crossing the chasm to autonomy while absorbing slower volume, EV incentive elimination, tariffs and investing in new initiatives that may not make margins for years," Morgan Stanley analyst Adam Jonas, a longtime Tesla bull, wrote early Thursday.

Tesla shares dropped 6% in premarket trading on Thursday, according to CNBC. The company reported its second consecutive quarter of falling automotive sales and missed both revenue and earnings expectations.
